TORNADO TOURNAMENTS

Tornado tournament formats,
schedules and awards.

Players compete in a Tornado event with its own entries, standings and awards. In-location and online tournaments use different operating arrangements. Choose the event’s game, participation rules and prizes, including member rewards and supported Bingo-Opoly® awards.

CHOOSE THE FORMAT

In-location, online and shared-program tournaments

In-location tournaments use the venue’s tournament and POS workflow, with tournament tickets and an operator-managed session. They let you organize a competition around a defined game offering rather than mix tournament activity into ordinary ticket play.

The online member experience has separate location tournament controls. Members can see available tournament play, ranking and award information in the participating location’s dashboard. Where configured, an eligible shared reward program can provide another tournament experience across participating locations.

A location tournament and a shared-program tournament are separate options. Joining a shared member program does not automatically enroll every location or every player into every tournament. The selected program determines eligibility, timing and the award arrangement.

PLAYER PARTICIPATION

Tournament entries, separate balances and standings

Tournament activity has its own ticket or account context. Depending on the selected format, operators can configure tournament entries and permitted repeat entries, while online participants can return to the tournament view from their member dashboard.

Rankings and award screens give players a way to follow the event. Standings follow tournament prize results, and the member view can show the player’s best standing across their entries. Scheduled online play can present availability and a countdown when closing information is defined. In-hall workflows include operator tournament results and printed reporting.

The demo should show the exact game, entry allowance, scoring or ranking method, closing time and handling of repeat entries for your event. Those choices shape the competition and should be visible in its published rules.

GAMUT GAME SCHEDULES

Put recurring Tornado tournaments on the calendar.

Gamut’s Game Schedules includes a Tornado Bingo event type. For a supported online tournament setup, an active schedule supplies the start and end timing and can repeat daily, weekly or monthly. The tournament service reads that schedule, opens the event and closes it at the scheduled time.

The current automatic sequence rotates through Original Tornado, Factor, More, Chaser and Ultimate X, skipping a game that is unavailable in that installation. Only one tournament is open at a time in this workflow, so overlapping schedule entries need to be planned accordingly.

The schedule and the prizes work together

The calendar determines when the event runs. The separate tournament prize configuration determines what each finishing place receives: a member reward and, where selected, a chance on a Bingo-Opoly board. Selecting a board on the general event schedule is not a substitute for configuring the board in the tournament’s place awards.

During an event, members can follow tournament availability, standings and closing information from the supported dashboard. The service retains the expected closing time so it can restore closing activity after a restart. The scheduler runs on the location’s tournament service or its designated shared-program tournament service, according to the program setup.

Include in your demo: create a recurring Tornado schedule, show the tournament it opens, inspect the finishing-place award setup, and follow one member through the close to both their reward and their Bingo-Opoly chance.

PLACE AWARDS & CONNECTED BENEFITS

Pair a member reward with a Bingo-Opoly® chance.

For supported scheduled online tournaments, a finishing-place prize can specify both a member reward and a Bingo-Opoly board. The tournament result then leads to two benefits: the selected reward is assigned to the member’s account, and a chance is created for that member on the selected board.

The member reward can be an eligible in-location play benefit, online quantities or an item redeemed by staff. Its own definition supplies the benefit and usage rules. The Bingo-Opoly chance follows the selected board’s play, prize and funding settings. Redeeming the member reward is not the trigger for issuing that chance.

Choose awards by finishing place

Different finishing places can use different reward-and-board selections. A place award can also consist of the member reward alone. A separate consolation reward can recognize a participant who has no place-specific reward; the scheduled board-chance pairing applies to positive finishing places, not the consolation fallback.

The scheduled tournament records its configured prize selections when it opens. At closing, the system uses those selections to assign the awards to eligible members. This makes the chosen finishing-place rewards and board links part of that event, while the reward’s availability dates, location eligibility and redemption instructions still govern its use.

RUNNING THE EVENT

Staff tasks before, during and after a tournament

Before entries open

Select the game and tournament prize table, define the eligible players and locations, set the entry and schedule rules, and choose the awards. A tournament-only table can remain separate from the ordinary player game selection.

During the event

Use the tournament controls and standings for that format. Keep ordinary play balances and tournament participation distinct, and give staff a clear way to explain the entry rules and available awards.

At the close

Review results and the applicable award assignment. Configured member rewards and eligible Bingo-Opoly chances provide a recorded next step for the player. Use the tournament and session reporting to review the event’s activity.

A tailored demonstration should include one complete tournament from entry through the final reward. That makes it easier to see how the event fits your staffing and member program.
