MEMBERS, REWARDS & SWEEPS

Member accounts, rewards
and online Tornado play.

Member accounts can track qualifying play and hold rewards earned through enrollment, points, promotions or tournament results. A reward is an assigned benefit, such as eligible play credit or an item collected from staff, with rules for when and where it can be used. A separately configured online program provides additional play and reward options.

MEMBERSHIP

Enrollment, points and membership levels

Members can enroll through an online or QR entry point or with help at the point of sale. Once member tracking is connected, qualifying game activity can contribute to period and lifetime point totals. The operator can set the program cycle for period points while retaining lifetime recognition. Those totals serve different purposes: period points support the current program cycle, while lifetime points can recognize a longer relationship.

You can name your reward levels and define the thresholds that move a member through the program. A welcome reward may be attached to the starting level. Later levels can carry their own awards, so the program can recognize participation over time without staff manually reviewing every play.

Point earning follows the eligible activity rules. Promotional or coupon credit is handled differently from new qualifying play, and Silver has a separate earning treatment. Your member terms should explain the chosen rules rather than imply that every dollar or every entry earns identically.

Points and rewards have different jobs

Points measure qualifying activity and trigger recognition. A member reward is a particular offer assigned to the account. The reward has its own value or quantities, available dates, eligible locations and redemption instructions. A higher points total is not itself a cash balance.

AUTOMATIC & STAFF-ASSIGNED AWARDS

Ways to award a member benefit

The reward system supports several distinct triggers. A level-up award recognizes a new membership level. A milestone award is issued when a period or lifetime threshold is crossed. A repeating lifetime award can issue a benefit each time another configured interval is reached.

Staff can also assign rewards directly to selected members or eligible groups. Tournament awards and connected product events provide additional ways to put a reward into the member account.

Time the offer

Rewards can begin immediately or on a future date and can carry an expiration. That lets a program distinguish “available now” from “come back when this offer opens.” Examples might include a welcome-play benefit, a refreshment offer or a future-visit promotion; the actual benefit and terms are selected for your operation.

FROM AN OFFER TO ITS USE

How members use play credit, online balances and item rewards

A reward can be set up for in-location Tornado credit, online Tornado Sweeps quantities, a non-game item or another defined benefit. A displayed dollar value does not automatically make the item playable credit or cash.

For an eligible in-location game reward, redemption through the game or POS creates coupon credit. An online reward can add Storm Opals, Silver or both to the appropriate member account. A venue item is presented for staff redemption. Location restrictions, start dates and expiry are checked in the redemption process.

Members can review their offers in My Rewards and follow the relevant use instructions. If an online reward is available at several eligible locations, the member can select the location context before confirming its use. A reward link can lead to the right place without immediately consuming the offer.

Coupons and Bingo Bucks

The ticket system separates cash, coupon credit and Bingo Bucks or promotional credit. Unplayed promotional credit is tracked as credit that must be used in play and is excluded from ordinary cashable credit. Match-play promotions have their own accounting treatment.

Keeping these records separate helps staff understand the difference between cash received, a promotional benefit issued and a prize or balance eligible for redemption. The selected program’s rules determine the final redemption terms.

ONLINE MEMBER PLAY

Tornado Sweeps is its own program option.

Tornado Sweeps extends the member experience through a separate online arrangement. The member dashboard can present Play Storm Opal, Play Silver, a location tournament, tournament awards and rankings, Daily Free Play and My Rewards. The choices shown depend on the participating location and its enabled options.

Storm Opals and Silver are the names of two separate play balances used in the online Tornado Sweeps program. The system also maintains a distinct tournament account. Members can receive eligible quantities through configured rewards and daily free-play offers. Item-based promotional programs have a separate sales integration that records the item sale and its configured Silver and Storm Opal quantities.

This should be designed as a defined promotional offering, including the actual item or entry method, available balances and redemption rules. It is not simply the in-hall cash-sale screen moved onto the internet.

Daily Free Play

When enabled, members can claim the program’s daily offer from their dashboard. The system checks the daily claim status and credits the configured eligible balances. The offer can distinguish Storm Opals from Silver; there is no single daily amount that applies to every installation.

At the venue and between visits

Online account access and permission to play from a particular place are separate matters. Storm Opal and tournament launches can be subject to location checks for configured locations, while Silver follows its own access path. The operation’s settings and program rules determine which modes are available away from the venue.

At-location BYOD remains another Tornado option: a customer uses a personal phone or tablet within the venue’s game operation. That does not require treating every phone as an off-site Sweeps account.

THE PRODUCT CONNECTION

A tournament reward can come with a Bingo-Opoly® chance.

A scheduled Tornado tournament can do more than place a reward in the member’s account. Its finishing-place award can pair a selected member reward with a chance on a selected Bingo-Opoly® board. When the tournament closes, the system assigns the reward and creates the member’s Bingo-Opoly chance as separate benefits from that tournament result.

The member does not have to redeem the reward to release the chance. They can use the reward according to its dates, eligible locations and redemption instructions, and participate in Bingo-Opoly under the chosen board’s rules. For example, an event can pair an eligible Tornado-play reward with a Bingo-Opoly chance, giving the player both a return-play benefit and another game experience.

More than one way into the program

Supported Tornado pattern awards can also create Bingo-Opoly chances. Separately, selected Tornado-linked rent events can assign a member reward to the property owner. That rent reward can provide in-location Tornado coupon credit or eligible Storm Opal entries in the online arrangement. Other Bingo-Opoly programs use a money-due collection workflow at the named location.

BOB Live Bingo has its own prize setup and can award a whole member reward or a Bingo-Opoly chance. These are distinct connections: the tournament’s combined award, the qualifying pattern, the rent reward and BOB’s prize each have their own setup.

Reward reminders, start dates and expiration notices

Configured reward reminders can include available offers, upcoming start dates and expiration dates. Delivery options include text, email, or a combination of the two. Bingo-Opoly rent notices can alert an eligible member to a new reason to reconnect with the venue.

Custom and scheduled SMS tools support member, program or reward-level targeting and member messaging preferences. This is useful for communicating an actual event or benefit. Reward reminders and rent notices are specific workflows; the system should not be represented as an unrestricted email-marketing suite.

The member experience brings together rewards, owned Bingo-Opoly chances, location-specific amounts due and BOB prize history. Bingo-Opoly and BOB schedules help members see upcoming events, while Tornado tournament screens show their own availability and timing.
