TORNADO OPERATOR TOOLS

Manage Tornado sales,
calls, prizes and reports.

Tornado includes the operating tools around the game: ticket service, card sales, calls, prize setup, member activity and the records needed to close the day.

THE POINT OF SALE

Ticket balances, device transfers and sales history

The hall POS brings together New Ticket, Add Credit, Redeem, Roll Prizes, Sell Packs, Sell Paper, Check Rewards, Activity, Reprint Last Transaction and member search. The options available at a station depend on the system and station configuration.

Staff can see ticket credit, prizes, promotional amounts, redeemable value and reserved-card information alongside the ticket, member and card-minder identity. That makes it possible to answer a specific player question from the recorded transaction.

Move a ticket or add credit

A ticket can be moved to another configured player station. Loading it onto the next device logs it off the previous one, preserving the underlying ticket rather than creating an unrelated new purchase.

The system supports adding credit or cards to an ongoing ticket without requiring the player to log out. Staff can service the purchase while the connected card minder receives the relevant ticket update.

Member-linked or ordinary local sales

Member tracking is optional for the local ticket workflow. When enabled, staff can find the member and connect eligible activity or rewards. Paper Bonanza also distinguishes an ordinary sale from Sell to Member, so paper participation does not inherently require membership.

SALES & CREDIT POLICY

Staff sales and purchases from player devices

The system has separate permissions for cash sales, promotional sales, member reward coupons, paper sales and purchases made from the card minder. Station visibility settings can keep a particular counter’s available actions focused on its job.

Credit and prize controls
ControlWhat it changesOperating decision
Minder purchases from creditAllows the device to buy new cards from available credit when a suitable pre-purchased card is not being used.Whether staff sells each card or the player can purchase through the minder.
Must Use New CreditTracks newly added regular credit as credit that must be played before ordinary redemption. The selected ticket funding and redemption policy.
Manual prize rollAllows a player to move prizes into playable ticket credit when enabled.Whether that action is available at the device.
Automatic prize rollCan roll prizes into credit automatically when the system permits it and the ticket is set accordingly.Whether the player’s ticket uses automatic reuse of prizes.
Coupons & promotional creditKeeps promotional amounts separate from cash and applies their play requirements.Which offers the venue accepts and how their use is accounted for.
Match-play promotionApplies the configured promotional matching arrangement. The qualifying purchase and promotional amount defined for that offer.

Permission to reuse prizes and permission to buy cards are separate controls. The proposed setup should demonstrate both, including the available cashout and promotional balances.

DRAW & CARD MANAGEMENT

Choose the call source and sale timing.

Game management includes individual and all-game opening and closing, call changes and status information. Staff can see game dates, cards played and remaining, amount played and average card value. Relevant games can be locked for tournament use.

Call sources

Manual entry lets staff enter and accept the draw. Supported call-desk input captures the numbers through the configured interface. Random calling is a separate operator-enabled choice. For the standard Tornado call, the system validates 24 numbers with the required B/I/N/G/O distribution.

Current cards versus reserved packs

Current-draw card sales tie the purchased entry to the current call. A purchased card awaiting verification is an accounting state: its entry exists, while its award is completed through the corresponding verification or reveal process.

Reserved packs are sold ahead of a later call. The system waits for a newer call before allowing the reserved entry to be revealed. Those cards are already purchased; their reveal is not another new credit sale. This is a distinct option from the standard ongoing sale of cards against an established draw.

Call order and card inventory

A configured Scramble Call option changes the presentation order of the existing called-number set; it does not create 24 different numbers for each purchase. A separate card-pack reuse setting determines whether an exhausted pack can restart or reaches the end of its available cards. These settings should be selected with the game and sales workflow.

PRIZE TABLES & FEATURE SETTINGS

Games, denominations, prize tables and bonus settings

Prize tables can be associated with the relevant game, hidden from ordinary game selection or reserved for tournament use. Within a table, the operator can work with denominations, face settings, pattern awards and the applicable feature configuration.

Patterns, bonus plays and multipliers

Pattern rows can define the displayed name, prize, bonus trigger and relevant next-multiplier or feature trigger. Bonus-play counts and multipliers are separate settings, including Factor’s three selectable packages and applicable extra-play rules.

The settings are game-specific. Ultimate X uses next-play face multipliers; More has its own face-coin and bonus behavior; Chaser maintains Bonus FREE spots. A single generic “bonus” description would miss those differences.

Progressives and More options

The system supports configured annuity or progressive arrangements and More progressive settings. More also has optional free-bonus play and Stamp Collection controls, including the selected collection pattern, enabled award tiers and multipliers.

Bingo-Opoly®-linked prize setup can associate an eligible denomination and trigger with a board and a rent reward. This connection needs a supported game and client configuration; it is not automatically added to all five games.

Prize limits and promotional handling

The configuration includes session, per-card and per-face aggregate controls, with additional upper limits used by supported prize-to-promotion arrangements. Those controls can affect the amount paid as a prize and the amount directed to promotional credit. They must be understood as part of the complete prize and redemption rules.

Ask to see the selected prize table alongside the game presentation and a sample report. The screen, award calculation and accounting should tell the same story.

SESSIONS, DRAWERS & REPORTS

Session, cash-drawer and ticket reports

The POS organizes activity into sessions and cash drawers. The station setup identifies the drawers it manages and separate receipt, card and report printers. Staff can use opening and closing workflows and inspect session or drawer activity for a selected date range.

Drawer detail

Drawer reporting separates cash, coupon and promotional sales, cashout, starting funds, drawer additions and pulls, ending totals and the transaction range. This helps staff reconcile what actually came in or went out instead of treating every credit as new cash.

Session detail

Session summaries bring together the drawers and include relevant sales and prize totals, account-balance changes, card quantities and values, contribution and distribution information, and tournament activity. Game details give another way to review the session.

Session and drawer reports can be printed or saved to PDF. Ticket history, activity views and transaction reprinting support individual service questions as well as end-of-day review.

Operational records and local requirements

The reporting setup should be matched to your organization’s procedures and the records required for its exact game program. A software report or named reporting setting is not by itself an approval of a jurisdiction’s filing requirements.
